OBITUARY
David Dave Alexander Robertson
October 19, 1922 – February 25, 2013
Robertson, David Alexander (Oct. 19, 1922-Feb. 25, 2013) David Alexander Robertson passed away peacefully in his 91st year on February 25, 2013. Beloved husband of Betty, his devoted wife of 40 years. He will be sadly missed by his son Trevor Robertson, and daughter Kim Hill, as well as Betty’s children Gord, Don and Rick Naylor, and Lisa Doty. Lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren, his sisters Ruth McIntyre and Agnes Wilkinson, and their families. Dave served with the Royal Canadian Dragoons for five years during the Second World War. He was co-founder of Sandy Cove Acres in Stroud. The family cannot give enough praise to the expert care Dave was afforded in the palliative care unit of Southlake Regional Health Centre. At Dave’s request there will be no visitation or service prior to cremation. A celebration of Dave’s life with his loved ones will be held at a later date. Donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre would be appreciated. On-line condolences may be made at www.thompsonfh-aurora.com.

The girls at the Sandycove Office will always have fond memories of a wonderful leader, a compassionate boss who along with Max Rice set the tone for creating a workplace of respect, recognizing hard work & treating each other like family. Our lives are better for having known him. He will be greatly missed.
