Evangelos, also known as Angelo, Vageli and Vago, was a carpenter, with a specialty in cabinet making. Born in Athens Greece on February 12, 1941, he was the fifth child of six children. He grew up with his loving parents, sisters and brothers always supporting each other. After serving in the Greek Navy, he made the brave voyage to Canada in 1963. He immediately immersed himself in the Canadian culture as he made Toronto his new hometown. He soon met Georgia and they began their 55-year journey together, living in Toronto, Windsor and Newmarket. There they raised their children, spoiled six grandchildren with their love, and always enjoyed time with their close family and friends. Evangelos’ kindness and work ethic will always be remembered.
