Ana Maria Souquette passed away January 19, 2021 in Austin, Texas at the age of ninety-one and a half. Ana, was preceded by her parents Micaela and Melaquias, her husband Gregorio, and their son Arturo. Ana is survived by her sister Maria Carmen of Mexico city, Mexico, and her children, Ana of Euless, TX, Greg (Rocio) Souquette, Mary (Scott) Sramek both of San Antonio, TX, and Felipe (Yolanda) Souquette of College Station, TX. Memo was also survived by her 16 grandchildren, Lannette, Saundra, Greg, Mary Ellen, John, Michelle, Willie, Ashley, Cristina, Vianey, Ernest, Dr. Kristin, Christopher, Crystal, Craig, Cathy; 24 great grandchildren, Siobhain, Gabrielle, Julianna, Dr. Aisha, Yosria, Zakariah, Chelsey, Edward, AJ, Isabella, Ivy, Tanner, Brittany, Justin, Treston, Holton, Scarlette, Ava, Alli, Ari, Micaela, Marissa, Aly; 7 great-great grandchildren, Kay'Den, Kamiliah, Alfred, Moses, Remington, Theo, and Victor, and a great many nieces and nephews.
Memo not only spent a lifetime loving & dedicating her life to her children, grand and great grandchildren she was able to see the world and travel to many places. Memo played a very big part in the rearing of many of her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, a second mother and grandmother to many. She would always want you to hug her like you missed her even if you had just seen her the day before. Memo will be remembered for her unconditional love, the importance of family and loyalty.
A memorial for Memo will be held at a later date in Uvlade, TX.
