My name is Michael Meredith, and my Dad is C.L.Meredith and he asked me to go on the computer and get what ever information I could for him. I never knew Herby, but I heard my Dad say and speak of him many times. I can see in the pictures that he loved his life, his family and the babies and the children and I'm sadden for the family's loss also and the friend that my Dad lost. My Dad hasn't accepted computers so I will send his deepest condolences for him, to all that Herby leaves behind. C.L.Meredith, B A for Painters Local Union, Houston, Texas

I just found out that Herby passed away. I enjoyed going to lunch with him and talking about Longhorn football. I could never repay his generosity. He was always nice to me and my mother. Rest in peace my friend. God will bless your family and friends.

Herby's heart was even bigger than he was, and he was a big guy, as we all know. He even helped with moving some furniture and a mattress for a woman who was down and out, when no one else would help. He called to check on me numberous times when he, himself, was in rehab.for his back injury. Always thinking of others! That is how I will always remember Herbie..
