You were an inspiring woman for us all. Strong, determined, smart, and fragile at the same time. I will miss you Jo!

I was lucky to work with Jo. She taught me more than I taught her and I relied on her knowledge, counsel and common sense. She was both a strong, determined leader and a kind, thoughtful and fun-loving colleague. I was fortunate to know her. I'm so sorry she's gone.

I had the privilege of knowing Jo for more than 14 years and will always treasure my memories of her friendship, her enthusiasm for everything, her wisdom, and especially her sense of fun and joy.

It's so sad to have lost Jo but I am sure there is comfort for us all in knowing that so many, many people will have such great memories of simply spending time with her.

It was a real privilege to know Jo who was an inspirational leader providing valuable strategic guidance, mentorship and encouragement to so many people.

Her kindness, empathy and support for everyone and anyone was so evident and will always be greatly appreciated.

She was a remarkable lady, a consummate professional and very special person to many people within the Adelphi family, and will be dearly missed by us all.

Rest in Peace Jo - you will never be forgotten.

Have you ever seen bright sparkles?
Then you’ve seen the light of Jo!

Have you known caring generosity?
Then you have known a part of Jo!

Have you experienced happy, funny, quick to laugh?
Then you have experienced the humor of Jo!

Have you viewed Modern Art, home decorating, purple, or peonies?
Then you’ve shared a view with Jo!

Have you sipped a Vodka Martini,
while listening to soft jazz in a beautifully decorated living space?
Then you may have shared a special time with Jo!

For all who know that this is Jo,
know why we will always love her so.

And in this time of shared great sorrow,
Deep reflections we have of Jo,
Know she remains within our hearts and souls,
And we will never let that go.

Rest in peace – we love you Jo!

With endless love,
Debbi, Keith, Amber and Arielle

Jo was really very, very special.
An optimistic, highly strategic, well-respected leader for us, a true role model for many of us, and also a very nice, loyal and friendly person on a private basis.
It was always a lot of fun with Jo.

Jo really had a lot of positive impact on our lives.

We will miss her very much.

Oh Josie, going to miss you. Since 9th grade on Long Island to now. You were always a force to be reckoned with. So creative; making candles, jewelry, photography, and sewing. All that talent morphed into your designer eye for your homes. You were always so generous and open to adventure. You did many kind things but one of the kindest, for me, was after my Sadie died you made a donation to the SPCA in her honor. You were a devoted friend and loved to share your joy for life. I'm grateful that we are friends.

This makes me so sad to hear. Jo was a great friend and leader and I had the opportunity to work with her. We traveled across the globe together. One of my favorite memories is in Ecuador where we discovered a tea called guayusa. We were so excited to drink it everyday to gain energy. You will be truly missed, you left us too soon. RIP Jo

Jo was my cousin and I will miss her greatly. Always at family gatherings growing up Jo, Richard and Rosemary were always the highlight of every holiday.Even three years ago when I traveled back from the Philippines where I live ,she went out of her way to make me and my brothers family feel at home. She always led by example . She was very close to my sister Debbie and she would always give me updates . We all were very proud of her accomplishments and spirit. My heart goes out to Richard and all that loved her. Rest In Peace Jo.

Jo was a dear friend and colleague. I was deeply impressed by how bright and positive she remained during her treatment. She will be dearly missed.
