91 Years Loved
A beautiful soul has left us. Rose passed away on January 14, 2019 in Bakersfield, California. Born in Santa Barbara on October 28, 1927 to Robert and Ida Lopez, she was the oldest of five children.
She was preceded in death by her son Bernard Chaidez, daughter Patricia Herrera, brothers Ronald "Larry" Lopez (Helen) and Fred Lopez, sister Connie Ibarra and her parents.
Rose is survived by her sister Ruby Calvillo, sister-in-law Betty Lopez, daughters Carol Cruz and Susan Calvillo, 20 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, 23 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Services will be held in the chapel at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield on Friday, January 25, 2019. Rosary 9:00 to 9:30 am; Funeral/Mass at 10:00 am. Grandma-Rosie-Ninja-Turtle - Get Those Wings!
