We are so sorry for your loss. I knew Jack from on-line correspondence and spent a day with him in Baltimore along with my wife and another friend. He was a really nice guy and I will miss our conversations on line.

We will miss you, Jack. It was always so good to see you. You always had a kind word and a smile and a hug, no matter what. It's been years since I have seen you, but you always sent kind messages through email that often made my day. You are loved by everyone and will be missed by everyone

Jack was my lacrosse coach at Curley when we won the Championship in 76. It was a special time for all of us, one we shared and re-lived over the years. I will miss him greatly but I will never forget him.

Jack wasn't just a neighbor for our family, he was a friend, and a great motivator for my son, Nick, who was one of many throughout the area that Jack got into lacrosse. It was always a little bit special when Jack would come out to one of Nick's rec games, then talk to him afterwards about what was good and what could use some work. Nick will miss that extra coaching, and we'll all miss Jack's friendship. His courage was something to inspire us all.

Jack was my coach, then a fellow coach and most of all a dear friend. His great devotion to Curley lacrosse was special. We spent many hours discussing the game. He battled hard in these recent times just as he battled on the field. I will sorely miss him but never forget him.

My deepest condolences. May God comfort the family and friends of Jack Arthur. We can all look forward to the time when death will be no more and instead of tears of sorrow there will be tears of happiness. May your memories bring you a measure of comfort at this time of great sorrow.
