Darl,

I still can’t fathom that you’re gone from this world. You were truly a light to those fortunate enough to know you. You were one of my first friends when I returned to school and I always enjoyed the time we spent hanging out. I feel blessed to have known you and to have been your “bro.” Thank you for always being a true and constant friend. Sending all my love to your family and friends. We’ll miss you.

Darl.... I'm honestly still in shock and can't find words good enough. I cannot believe what happened, you were always one of those people that I thought would live forever. You were so happy, so vibrant, radiating great vibes to everyone you meet! In my short time studying in Dumaguete, I cannot think of it without remembering all those fun times we had with everyone. You were always there cracking jokes and making sure every single one is having a great time. We haven't talked that much after Silliman, thank God there's facebook. I was rooting for you to finally become a professor because man those kids are gonna have the best mentor they will ever have! I'm still rooting for you :) In another life I will see you soon. Thank you for all the amazing memories, Darl! Just like on your Instagram bio, I hope heaven is spoiling you with the best protein shakes. We all miss you.

Still wrapping my head around what happened. Darl is a good friend and is a part of so many great memories of university life. His vibrant personality and sense of humour was loved by all of us and his name always came up every time we would recount good times in Dumaguete. He will definitely be missed but will never be forgotten. ♥️

Darl will always be one of my favourite people. Hearing that he passed away breaks my heart. I love how he was so goofy but so charming at the same time. Who else would think of calling themselves a knight on a shining walrus? I'm happy that I was fortunate enough to have been his friend. My condolences to everyone who was a part of his life. He will be deeply missed.

Thank you Darl, for the time you spent on this earth. I remember when I first met you, you seemed calm, cool, and collected. You were an easy going guy. I always admired your spunk for life, your sense of humor, your ambition, and your confidence that seemed to naturally pour from you. Not an arrogant type confidence, just a confident type where you knew you were cool but you didn't let it get to your head :)

I really liked how you helped me through some of my dark times. When I was struggling with being single you took the time to talk to me and give me caring advice. You were a listening ear. And I also liked how you played League of Legends.

Rest in peace, bro, and I'm sorry that you left this earth way too soon! Your family and friends miss you!
