Harold D. Nikkel

5/21/1938-5/17/2020

Harold passed away peacefully at home in Barstow. Parents Clarence and Lillian Nikkel, daughter Chris Walker (who preceded him in death). Survived by 3 children Denise Evans (Bill), Doug Nikkel (Shelia) and Sheri McGrath (Tony), wife Susan, 3 stepchildren, Mike Verdetto, Marco Verdetto and Mario Verdetto (Brandie), 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren (at last count).

Retired from BNSF. He liked watching old Western movies (especially anything with John Wayne), documentaries, Travel Channel and anything World War II. He always looked forward to the yearly Laughlin trip. He had a great sense of humor and constantly tried to be funny. Nothing he loved better than a good argument.
