James M. Francis

James (Jim) Manley Francis, age 93, departed this life on November 1, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife Sue Dell Brewer Francis.

Survivors include his daughter Susan Francis of Cordova, TN; son Paul and wife Donna of Monticello, AR; and son David and wife Sandy of Ft. Worth, TX; and grandchildren Timothy Francis, Suzanne Francis Timmerman, and John David Francis.

Jim spent his entire professional career with International Harvester, with many years as Chief Engineer, Cotton and Hay Harvesting. He was a WWII Army combat veteran, Purple Heart recipient, former president of the Memphis Anglers Club, and member of the Backlashers Bass Club. He loved family, country, fixing things, and fishing.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 5 - 7 PM and the funeral will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
