It is with a heavy heart I send my sincere condolences to LaDonna's family. I met LaDonna when we both worked at an alarm company in Memphis in 1990. I had just moved to Memphis from Maryland and I knew no one. The first shift I worked with LaDonna we clicked and talked for 8 hours straight and had so much in common and continued to be close friends for the entire time that I lived in Memphis. When I left in 1992 and moved back to Maryland we stayed in contact for many years and thanks to Facebook we were able to reconnect a few years ago. LaDonna was so much fun and we were both in our twenties and we had a great time and I will cherish those memories. She always concerned about my happiness and if I was okay. She would always say " let me come pick you up. I'll take you where you need to go, you don't know where you're going" and she was so excited to show me everything about Memphis, and everything southern. I couldn't wait for the next adventure we could have whether it was showing me what a krystal was to showing me Jerry Lee Lewis's Cadillac or stop over to watch a "coon" hunt ,which, to a "Yankee " as she loving called me, was a bit of a culture shock and she enjoyed seeing that shock on my face. She was proud of her heritage and loved her family and always wanted to make her parents proud and she worked so hard in nursing school and couldn't wait to be a nurse to continue to take care of people that came so naturally to her.

I'll never forget those times they were some of the best of my life, she was an awesome person with a heart of gold and she will be missed terribly! I'm sorry for your loss and I pray for your strength during this hard time.

What a wonderful Lady to grow up with. We spent many years on Debbie Drive together. Our parents even worked together. She was always kind in all areas. I pray for her family and pray they just remember her beautiful smile.

My condolences to the family of Ladonna. I went to high school with Ladonna Raleigh Egypt. Ladonna always a really sweet friend. I am saddened to hear of her passing. Never got to see her after high school maybe once in a rush it's a shame how fast tome flies everyone goes their seperate ways and we leave friends behind and don't find time to keep in touch. Even though none of us kept in touch through the years we will all miss knowing she is not with us but will keep her in our memories and close to our heart. May you find peace and strength in the coming days months years.

i remember the very first time i saw LaDonna--we were purchasing our new home on sandburg street, & the Lillies were either moving in or coming home to their new home, two doors down from our house--i was so excited to see two girls about the age of my boys---both pre schoolers--LaDonna was a part of my everyday life for almost 17 years, i will always cherish the memories of her smile, & her mischievous nature---she held her own in the group of kids that grew up there---precious memories of a golden girl----you will always have a place in my heart
