Nick Louin Harvey

On June 3, 1956, Nick married the love of his life, Betty (Reed) Harvey. They went on to have four daughters, Vickie, Ruth, Carol, and Nancy.

Nick served in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1954. He then became a police officer with the Memphis Police Department in 1955 and retired in 1984, earning the rank of Lieutenant in 1967 and Captain in 1973. In 1987, he became a military police officer at the State of Tennessee Department of Military in Memphis, TN. Nick retired from the Tennessee Air National Guard as a security guard in 2004.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Maggie Harvey, his siblings John (Geneva) Harvey, Sammy (Betty) Harvey, Mary German, and Ruby (Robert)Williams; his son-in-law Brad Busby, and three nephews, Jon (Tammy) Harvey, Rick Harvey, and Joe Ferguson. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Harvey, and his daughters, Vickie Busby, Ruth (Mike) Landers, Carol (Mike) Land, and Nancy (Paul) Haas. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
