Words can not describe how I feel. I never had a big brother in my life, but knew what that felt like with you. I lost my father when I was 24 but you reminded me of his love and care. You were my manager, mentor, friend, confidant, and most importantly my rock. You never refrained from saying "Love you like a brother", now I understand.

I will miss our coffee chats, hearing your feet shuffle while walking to my office, and mostly your laughter. But I know that GOD is in control and he needed you for a bigger mission. You have a direct line to him since you are in-front of his throne, so I will ask this.

"Please Pray for us so we too can finish strong like you did my friend."

Love you like a brother

It seems like I've known Phil most of my adult life. He has been such a part of my work life for close to 30 years, and for so many years I have considered him "my best friend at work". We worked together on the Papers side of the business starting many years ago, and both ended up working on the Packaging side of the business as well. He was literally the BEST manager I've ever worked for; and beyond that he was truly a great friend to me and helped me through some very difficult times. Phil made an indelible mark on all of our team, and many other teams, within our IT organization - sometimes he is like the glue that held us together. I guess God and the angels needed him more than we. Though he is gone, he will NEVER be forgotten. Heather, Allison, and Emma - you have lost a great one, but his legacy lives on through you. Always cherish the great memories you have, and know that my prayers are with you in the days and weeks to come. May the Lord Jesus give you strength and comfort in this difficult time as only He can. If there is ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to call me. Louis
