Shirley Crowder

Shirley Jane Marlowe Crowder passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. She was an active member at Ellendale Baptist Church. Shirley enjoyed walking, gardening and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Paul Crowder, her sister, Florence Starr and her brother, Edward Marlowe. She is survived by her children, Susan Jewell and Paul Crowder (April); her grandchildren, Rebecca Jewell Wade, Joshua Jewell; one great-grandchild, Hampton Wade and her sister, Johnnie Wilson. A service will be held at Ellendale Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 21 at 11 a.m., with a visitation held an hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family requests that gifts in memory be offered to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
