Walton Milo Stallins, 101, of Byhalia, MS passed away Friday, January 18, 2019. He was retired from the former Illinois Central Railroad (currently Canadian National Railroad). Began his career with the railroad in 1942 as a brakeman and concluded his career in May 1981 as a conductor. Mr. Stallins was also a Freemason serving his membership with the Whitehaven Lodge 599 Memphis. He was the youngest of six children, preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Ruth Stallins; daughter, Peggy Ruth Kennedy and grandson, Johnny Craig Kennedy, Sr. Mr. Stallins is survived by his son, Jimmy Stallins, Sr. of Byhalia, MS; grandchildren, Jimmy Stallins, Jr of Byhalia, MS, Stacey Pennington of Holly Springs, MS, Jeff Kennedy of Hot Springs, AR, Jessica Kennedy of Cordova, TN, Renee Kennedy of Byhalia, MS; ten great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren; girlfriend, Martha Joyner of South Fulton, KY. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN.
