He was born July 22, 1952 to Edward and Gloria (Griffith) Gladson. He married Donna Wageneck on September 4, 1971 in Bartonville.
Gary is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna; his son, Tom (Melissa) Gladson, of Bartonville; daughter, Tracy (Andy) Cervantes, of Peoria; grandsons, Austin Gladson, Noah Cervantes, and Drasen Cervantes; sisters, Lori Justice, Beth Miller; brother, Neil Gladson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Lynn Earnest.
Gary graduated from Limestone High School in 1970, and worked for Keystone for 34 years, retiring in 2004. Gary was a proud member of Elks Lodge #20 for 43 years, and the American Legion Post 979, of Bartonville.
He loved playing golf, and spending time with family and friends. He never met a stranger, and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, a loyal friend to many, and will be greatly missed. Gary was a die-hard St. Louis Cardinal and Green Bay Packer fan rarely missing a game, and was often heard yelling at the TV during the games.
