Kay E. Gerard

She was born January 15, 1938 in Peoria to Harry and Leona (Daniels) Lester. She married Glenn Gerard on October 25, 1958 in Peoria.

Surviving is her husband Glenn of Peoria; three children, Leisa K. (Robert) Thomas of Bartonville, Douglas D (Kimberly Sue) Gerard of Washington and Deidre L Jillson of California; a sister, Linda (Jay) Scofield of Bartonville; five grandchildren, Kayla Gerard, Kyle Gerard, Daniel Davila, Savannah Gerard and Aaron Gerard and three great-grandchildren.

Kay was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and worked as a Legal Secretary for Quinn, Johnson, Henderson, Pretorius and Cerulo Law Firm in Peoria for 35 years before retiring.

Kay enjoyed old time country music and dancing. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.

A funeral service will be at 7 pm on Friday, June 15, 2018 with visitation from 5 pm until the time of service at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Father Don Roszkowski will officiate. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
