Saddened to hear of Julie's passing. She and I went to school together and was in the same graduating class. She was such a kind & quiet person. I know she will be greatly missed by many. Prayers for the family.

Wow I was so shocked to the hear about Julie's passing. I just want the family to know that we are praying for peace and comfort during this time. I think about all of the many lunchtime conversations we had in the AHCC MDS office with Julie. She was always eating a bags of chips/pork skins or the little cups with granola on top. We always had each other laughing during lunch, she would talk about Gavin and his latest and everything else, her obession with the bullriding. I will never forget that Tarzan ringtone that rang at the most inappropriate times, but that was Julie... clever and sweet. She was always supportive, she came to my wedding, we had a good time. When I came to Peak I was glad to see a familar face and she helped me transition. One thing that I do know she loved her family very much, she had a special bond with Gavin. I love you and miss you Julie. :) I know you are up there smiling down on us.

I remember Julie as a kind wonderful person. I used to see her at Stanleytown Healthcare where my mother was a patient. I also saw her at Stanleytown Baptist Children's Center where I helped care for her son Gavin.
I want to give the family my sincere sympathy.

My heart hurts to hear of the passing of Julie. Although I did not know her well I did see Julie everyday at the store with her son Gavin whom I call "school skipper" because one day he came in with His mother during school hours on the way to an appointment & I told him he was skipping school so his nickname became School skipper from then on out. The more they came in the more we got to talking and cutting up. I remember the last time I saw her was Wednesday her & school skipper came in the store & she told him to tell me where he was about to go. Gavin with that sweet face of his smiled at Julie the looked at me & said he would really be a school skipper for the next two days cause he was going to Biltmore with School so he would be skipping school & the store lol. Julie just laughed at him & talked about she was excited about going with him. It puts a little smile on my face to know she spent that last little time she had on earth with her boy. If there's one thing I know from just them coming in the store she loved Gavin with all her soul & he was spoiled :) Just know she will be missed & God bless you all.
