Claudia Clark Bordelon

November 22, 1930January 14, 2021

Claudia Clark Bordelon, born on November 22, 1930, and a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 90. Claudia graduated from Istrouma High School, and attended LSU nursing school where she was a baton majorette. She was a longtime member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court #1915, and St. Francis of Assisi where she served as a Regent. She worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone, LA Dept. of Highways, Blue Cross of Louisiana, and Cajun Electric. She assisted in creating and worked in 2 family businesses, Bordelon’s Sewer Service and B&B Faucet Repair Parts. Claudia like to go on cruises and watch LSU and Saints games. She loved holidays, especially Christmas, and entertaining guests. She always greeted everyone with a smile and will be forever in our hearts, minds, thoughts, and prayers. We love you Claudia, Mom, Mother, Momo, and Grandma. She is survived by her husband, Bobby E. Bordelon of Baton Rouge; children, Bobby R. Bordelon and wife Vickie of Maurepas, LA, Cynthia B. Richardson of Baton Rouge, and Charles A. Bordelon of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Jason P. Richardson of Baton Rouge, and Dana R. Davis and husband Sean of Gonzales, LA; great-grandchildren, Austin Richardson, Hayden Davis, Aaron Davis, Aiden Yiirs, Elias Richardson, and Jasmine Himel; and 2 grand dogs, Bella and Heighlee. She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. Clark of Baton Rouge and Erma C. Greer of Mobile, AL; and family pet, Bosco. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Greenoaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge. The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice and Ochsner Home Health.
