Janis Patricia Moulard
February 6, 1939 – February 19, 2021
Janis Moulard passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021, at the age of 82. She graduated from Istrouma High School 1957 and then attended Southeastern Louisiana University. She retired from DSM Copolymer after 35 years of service. Janis is survived by her children, Terri Creech and husband, David, Faith Miller Broussard and husband, Reno, Brandy Gant and husband, Brannon, and Scott Moulard and wife, Julie; grandchildren, Johnathan Bennett and wife, Tracy, Shelby Bennett, Lindsey Miller, Allison Hutchison and husband, Jason Lasseigne, Emily Hutchison, and Clay and Bailey Gant; great-grandchildren, Elliot, Issac, Michael, Bennett, Owen, Breanna, Sophie, Elijah and Ezra; brother, Michael Gomez and wife, Esta; nieces, Wendy Dupree and husband, Kevin, and Crystal Chicola and husband, Chase; great-nephews, Brent and Keller; and great-niece, Evie. Janis is preceded in death by her grandson, Marshall Creech; and her parents, William Gomez and Georgia Lee Gomez. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Friday, March 5, 2021, from 12:00PM until the time of memorial services at 2:00PM. I went all thru high school with Janis. She was one of a group of five fun loving girls—Julie, Frances, Kay Lynn and Mary Ann. Unfortunately, only Julie and Mary Ann are still with us. All of us liked to dance and spent most of our leisure time dancing!! The five were their core group but lots of us were friends and hung out together. Life was simple back in the day!! Janis was a good friend, a wonderful wife and mother and I am sorry she is gone. Prayers to all who loved her. RIP old friend.

My heart is heavy with grief for all of her loved ones. 💔 Especially Ronnie and Terry. I will always remember her smile and laughter. We enjoyed so many good times together, she was the life of the party.
