She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Peacock and Eva Lee Peacock; brothers, Thomas Peacock, James (Pard) Peacock and Gene Peacock; children, Rex Petty and Billie Fifield.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Walter A. Simpson; children, Bo Simpson and wife Tessie, Ron Simpson and wife Judy, Lisa McCullough, Burton Simpson and wife Veronica, Glen Simpson and wife Holly and Sue Mullens and husband Bobby; 22 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 15, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Earthman Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
