

Nell Manley McLean, 70, of Baytown was born April 6, 1939 in Baytown and passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a retired school teacher with the Goose Creek School District with 30 years of service and a member of Cedar Bayou Baptist Church. She was a seamstress and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, M. O. and Sallie Manley; son, Steven Craig Girard; and grandson, Kyle Girard. She is survived by her daughter, Lydia Girard Galloway and husband, Wayde of Baytown; son, Gary W. Girard and wife, Cathy of Deer Park; brother and sister-in-law, James and Frances Manley of Baytown; grandchildren and their spouses, Heather and Kyle Catanzaro, Timothy and Amanda Galloway, Ryan Galloway, James and Megan Galloway, Lauren Galloway, Cory Girard, Craig Girard, Lucy Yanez, Jack Davis, Mallory Girard and Kennedy Girard; and great grandchildren, Makaylah, Haiden and soon to arrive, Katie Galloway.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, March 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Broussard officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
