Thanks to the family for sharing so many pictures from Virginia’s life. We were dear friends during our years at Robert E Lee high school. We carpooled together to Durham Business College. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding. I’m so sorry to say that we lost contact after marrying. The pictures brought back such fond memories. I am so proud that Virginia knew the Lord and had a happy life. I know she will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will never forget Virginia. With much love, Catherine Jamison (Dayton, TX).

Virginia and I met 43 years ago at Shell. She was my first office cube mate and we became the best of friends. Our paths took us on separate journeys over the years but our friendship always remained in place. She was the kind of person you could not see for long periods of time but when you caught up again it was just like yesterday. My prayers are for Kristi, Tillman and Craig; I know she loved each of you so much and this will be extremely hard for you. Remember she will live in your hearts forever. Good bye my dear friend. I will miss you dearly.
