Darcy Marie Pennypacker, 60, a lifelong resident of the Beaumont and Lumberton areas passed away on Monday May 7, 2018 in Beaumont. Darcy was born in Beaumont, Texas on June 16, 1957 to her parents William and Johnnie Horn Harrington, who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Teddy Pennypacker; daughter, Kimber Lynn Okun; sisters; Donna Fitzpatrick and Johnnie Ann Bouse.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Randa Brown of Lumberton and Victoria Pennypacker of Lumberton; two brothers William Harrington of Lumberton and Samuel Harrington and wife Deidra of Voth; sister Susan Snider and husband Gerald of Voth; and grandchildren, Jaida Brown and Jaylen Brown. She is also survived by fifty-four nieces and nephews.
Darcy was a Christian person who enjoyed reading, traveling, and especially taking care of people. She took great pride in caring for her five dogs. She also enjoyed getting together with siblings and her friends at numerous times to play cards, poker, and dominoes. She was a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse having worked as a dedicated employee of Silsbee Oaks Nursing Home in Silsbee.
A Celebration of Darcy’s Life memorial service will be held on Saturday May 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Beaumont.
