Lonnie Melvin Seaman Sr.

Lonnie Melvin Seaman, Sr., 82, of LaPorte, died Monday, May 10, 2021 at Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital in Baytown. A native of DeRidder, LA., Lonnie was raised in Beaumont, and has lived in LaPorte for 25 years, and was still actively working as a project estimator with Turner Industries. Lonnie proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Lonnie enjoyed woodworking, golfing, and his profession.

A Celebration of Lonnie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. A Gathering of friends and family will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the funeral home.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Hope Seaman, his loving wife Carline Seaman, brother Charles Henry Seaman, daughter, Kathy Lynn Seaman, granddaughter, Summer Cain, and his step-son, David Glen Gray.

Lonnie is survived by his son, Lonnie (Chip) Melvin Seaman, Jr., sisters, Linda Harris and Pam Willett and husband Chris, brothers, Perry Seaman and wife Shelda, Doug Seaman and his wife Felicia, step-son Terry Lynn Gray, step-daughter, Earline Harris, his grandchildren, Andrew Seaman, Bridget Turnor, Michael Gray, David Gray, Derrick Gray, Jessica Gray, Christina Hanks, Matthew Harris, Michelle Fraser, Sean Gray, Don Gray, Tara Mann, and Josh Baker, as well as numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Lonnie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
