Rusty was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved and enjoyed hunting and fishing; but he would have rather called turkeys for everyone else. Later in life, he found a passion for cooking, baking and gardening.
Rusty had a wonderful sense of nature, having a love for animals. While he was around people, he could always make one smile. In the summer, spring and fall, you would see him relaxing on the front porch. In the winter, you would see him by the fire.
Rusty worked in the coal mining industry for 23 years. He also played a large role in the design process, devoting countless hours helping develop the business 304 Lures. He attended New Life Tabernacle Church in Crab Orchard. He cherished his family, being a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.
