Andrew "Andy" Bendis Sr.

On June 7, 2018, Andrew Bendis, Sr. "Andy"; beloved husband of the late Alma R. Bendis (nee Hopkins); devoted father of Andy Bendis, and Andrea Bendis-Munday; loving grandfather of Amanda Jo Bendis, Aimee Lin Bendis, and Cameron and Ciera Munday; cherished great-grandfather of Aviana Jolene Weigman; dear brother of the late George Bendis, Susan Devecka, John Bendis, and Julia Bosley. Andy was born in Pitt Gas, PA, served his country in the US Army, and worked at Bethlehem Steel for 42 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Dacota Paradise Assisted Living, 603 W. Belair Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
