Dear Family and Friends of Rita,

The world has lost a true joy and a loving spirit. The death of Rita was a terrible shock to all of us and has left the emptiness of her contagious laughter. Her beautiful, warm and caring personality touched us all. I will hold dear the memories of our Pigtown gatherings and especially her special ending for the Happy Birthday song!

I wish you peace at this sad time and hope that you know you are not alone in your sorrow.

Rita will be missed but not forgotten.

Lisa and Debbie and family,

We wish we could be in Baltimore to say goodbye in person. We will miss Rita's happy face and we enjoyed the good times we shared with her at the OC Elks and at Shuffle Bowl. She will be missed. We offer our deepest sympathy to all of Rita's family.

Margaret and I have known Rita for many years from working together at Deloitte, including Mark’s earliest days with Haskins & Sells. Fortunately for both of us, Rita was much more than a co-worker, but a true friend that we always looked forward to seeing at Jingle Bells. Rita and Margaret would chat during the year to keep tabs on one another and their families, with the most important call in November to confirm their mutual attendance at JBJ. Unfortunately, COVID left both disappointed, that attendance would not be possible in 2020, with both looking forward to JBJ in 2021. She was a great person and friend to many. We were truly blessed for having known Rita.

I’m stunned at the loss of this beautiful woman…what a big heart…so warm, caring and concerned about each of our lives and families. I loved catching up with her every December at the Jingle Bells Jubilee. I had hoped to see her this past December but of course the pandemic made that impossible. Fortunately, I have the memories of our times together at Haskins & Sells and in later years at the Orioles games and the JBJ when I was able to return to Baltimore. Such a sweet woman. God Bless her and her family.
