Margaret “Peggy” Robin

Margaret “Peggy” (Bruce) Robin, age 94, passed away on January 1, 2019 after an extended illness. She was born in Rochelle, Texas, and graduated from Santa Anna High School. Peggy earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and her master’s degree from the University of Houston. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Robin; parents Charles and Leona (Banister) Bruce; sister Barbara Bruce Kingsbery Jones; and brothers-in-law Jack Kingsbery, Tom Kingsbery, and M. C. Jones. She is survived by her daughter Joan Hunter; son Walter Robin; granddaughter and grandson-in-law Robin and Aaron Treviño; grandson Charles Hunter; sister Evelyn Bruce Kingsbery; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on January 12, 2019 at Willow Meadows Baptist Church, 4300 West Bellfort, followed by a funeral service in the church chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
