Rosemary Totsie Hill Bauer

Rosemary “Tootsie” nee Hill, Bauer, 86, of Caseyville, Illinois, born October 9, 1925 in Pocahontas, Illinois passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Illinois with her family at her side.

Rosemary was a member of the Tri City Assembly of God Church in Granite City, Illinois and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Adam Wainwright Fan.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Bauer, II.; Infant daughter, Katie Bauer; parents, Harry and Ida, nee Evans, Hill; siblings Robert Hill and Vivian Burton.

Surviving are her loving children, Gary (Gloria) Bauer of Belleville, Illinois, Dennis (Mary) Bauer of Granite City, Illinois, Margaret ”Peggy” (Bruce) Metcalf of Collinsville, Illinois, Nancy (Ron) Agne of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Charles “Chuck” (Theresa “Terri”) Bauer, III., of Collinsville, Illinois and Connie (Ed) Slaton of Swansea, Illinois; nine grandchildren, Ronnie (Carol) Agne, Jr., Bryan (Samantha) Bauer, Darla (Scott) Kendall, Bradley (Kristen) Bauer, Andrew, who is currently serving in Afghanistan, (Patrisha) Bauer, Rhiannon Bauer, Ashley Slaton, Benjamin Bauer and Brooke Slaton; two great grandchildren, Drew Bauer and Brecken Bauer and one on the way; half sister, Zona Phillips; dear friends, Jerry and Wilma Stone and The Johnson Family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Valhalla Gardener Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois

Funeral Services will be held at the Tri City Assembly of God Church, 3400 Maryville Road, Granite City, Illinois on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Barry Shepherd officiating.

Interment will follow services in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois,
