On Thursday, March 14th 2019, Rogelio Galano, loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age 64. Rogelio Galano, who was known as Eliot to his family and friends, was born on October 2nd 1954 in Manila, Philippines. In Manila, he received his Business Administration degree at De La Salle University in 1976. He moved to United States in 1980 and his soon to be wife followed in 1981. Eliot and Marilou Galano got married on July 3rd, 1982. They raised two children: Ryan and Melanie. He enjoyed a career as the Director of Administration for Living Things and Allegro Manufacturing. Eliot was known as a great man for his unconditional love and generosity to his friends and his family. He was strong, kind, and had a compassionate spirit. He never hesitated to say yes to anyone who needed help. He loved to play and watch basketball growing up and he loved to collect music. He shared his passions with his wife and passed it along to his children. Eliot is survived by his wife, Marilou, and children, Ryan and Melanie, his brothers Raul, Rene, Rolando, Romy, Roberto, Ricardo Jr. and sister Girlie. Eliot was preceded in death by his parents Ricardo D. Galano and Rosalina Intengan Galano and infant sister Yasmin. He was also loved much by his extended family, cousins, nephews, and friends. A viewing for Eliot Galano will be held at Whites Funeral Home, 9903 Flower St, Bellflower, CA 90706 on Friday, March 22nd, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Eliot Galano’s Funeral Service will be held at St. Linus Church, 13915 Shoemaker Ave, Norwalk, CA 90650 on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at 12:00 PM. Burial Services will be held immediately after at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, CA 90601.
