Delores Joan West, 79, of Belton, MO passed away April 28, 2012. Visitation 1:30-3 pm, funeral service at 3:00 pm Friday, May 4 at McGilley & George Funeral Home in Belton. Joan was born September 13, 1932 in Knob Noster, MO, to Jacob and Ruby Galloway Knaus. She lived in the area over 20 yrs and was a Baptist. Joan worked for J.C. Penney in the Cosmetology Dept. and for Nellie Don. She was involved with DAR. Joan enjoyed family genealogy. Survived by husband, Robert Dale West of the home; sons, Richard D. West, Colorado and Rodney K. West, Lee's Summit MO; 2 grandchildren, Burton Kyle West and Lucas Wood West, whom she loved dearly.
