Bill Bailey, 79, passed away November 2, 2018. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday, November 9, 2018 at McGilley & George Funeral Home, Belton, MO. Private inurnment will be held at High Noon on opening day at the family farm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Bill’s memory be made to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation or Missouri Dept. of Conservation.

Bill was a lifelong area resident. While attending LSU, he was active in R.O.T.C. Bill was the Master Skilled Craftsman of W.E. Bailey Construction Company. Bill was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and an expert marksman. He was a former city councilman for Grandview.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his wife of sixty years, Nancy; daughter, Tammy; son, Bill; brother, David; 2 sisters, Carol and Norma; grandchildren, Jarred, Alexandra and Shelby; great granddaughter, Adley; and nephew, Danny.

Nancy and Family,
So sorry to hear of your loss.

I remember sharing some happy times with Otis and Gertrude and all of your family in the 70s and 80s along with Mom. Brings back good memories.

Please know that Bobby, Ernie, and I will be thinking of you as well as David, Carol and Norma at this time. We lost Jeanette 2 years ago, miss her a lot.

Memories are comforting at times like these. Hope you and family are well.
