Connie and Jerry, we're so sorry for your loss. I have wonderful memories of walking to your folks home near grandpa's, having sweet tea or lemonade, being introduced to Archie comic books and beautiful crochet work. Our thoughts are with you.

Coming into the family close to fifty years ago Roy took me to meet his Aunt Mildred and Uncle Calvin'sat their home. Naturally they had a spread of food and family there. It seemed their home was the meeting place of hospitality. My father-in-law Don and Calvin seem to be the best of friends through the years. Calvin always had his big smile and welcoming spirit. The most fun was the backyard spread Mildred would put on and the men cranking the ice cream razzing each other. Us meeting at a football game cheering and yelling. Our love to the family.

Connie, Jon, Jeri (Brandon), Justin (Tammie) and family prayers for understanding, comfort and strength during this time. I was only around Mr. Bertschy a few times, but he was a very quiet, sweet spirited man who loved his family. I loved seeing him and Bonnie Burr interacting again after decades of being apart, it was an awesome testimony of love . Jer, you know I'm here if you need me.

We love you,
