Helen Singleton, 83, went home to be with her Savior January 13, 2021. Helen was born November 29th, 1937 in Banner, Oklahoma, to William and Rose Dolezal. She was married to Fred Singleton on September 3, 1960 in El Reno, Oklahoma. They shared 60 years of marriage together.
Helen graduated from El Reno High School in 1956. She attended Oklahoma State University where she studied Education. She was employed at Oklahoma Retailer Publishing company for over 50 years where she did the accounting for her husband, Fred’s, newspaper.
She was a long-time member of Our Lord’s Community Church. She enjoyed going to church, going on cruises, taking care of her family, playing cards and dominoes, clipping coupons, talking about her Czech heritage, watching movies and going out to eat. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, love for Jesus, time spent helping other people, and her fun personality.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, William and Rose Dolezal, and sister, Rosemary Eaklor.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Fred, son, Shannon Singleton; daughter Shona Schoettle and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Toby, Tyler, Katie, and Brendon; sister Dolores Williams; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2pm-4pm Sunday at Bill Merritt Funeral Service.
Private family service will be held.
