James John Turk "Pappa Jimmy Jack"

James John Turk passed away on November 25, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 85. He was born June 3, 1935 to George Adam Turk and Daisy D Fisher-Turk-Webb. James was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Virginia Turk, his brother George Adam Turk Jr. and his sister Joy Louise Taylor. He is survived by 2 daughters, Aline Turk-Westmoreland-Overstreet of the home, Kathy and husband Tom Durante of Union City, OK, 1 son Jimmie and his wife Cindy Turk of Moore, OK, and 1 brother James D. Webb and wife Vicki of Luther OK. He also has 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. James was an Iron worker and retired after 26 years with Local 48. In his early days he helped build and enjoyed racing stock cars at the OKC race track. He never sat still during his retirement. He was definitely an outdoors man. He loved to fish and hunt. Whatever he killed or caught he brought home to the table. He also loved to help his favorite cousin Ronnie down on his farm. He loved driving the tractor and just hanging out with the guys. Our Dad was a jokester and was downright ornery. Our Dad with his beautiful blue eyes and giggly laugh, will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He will be in our hearts forever.
