Karan Crepps

Karan Crepps, age 86, passed away October 31, 2023 in Oklahoma City after a long and difficult illness. She wasborn on May 8, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri to Gene and Opal Autry. Karan grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Classen High School. She then attended Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma and received her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in early childhood education. Karan married Clyde H. Dorr II MD and had three children who brought much joy into their lives. They divorced after 16 years. Later she married Mike Crepps and enjoyed many years of traveling and laughter before his death in 2005. Karan was a faithful member of Crossings for 25 years and is now with her beloved savior Jesus and Almighty God. She loved to sew and garden, but mostly she loved to spend time with her family and spoil her grandchildren. Karan was a lovely, kind, and generous woman who helped many during her life. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and was dedicated to her family. She was also a wonderful and caring teacher following in the footsteps of her mother. She will be missed greatly by all who loved her. However, all are comforted by her being with the Lord!

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mike Crepps; sons, Clyde H. Dorr III and Kevin Autry Dorr; as well as brother, Larry.

Karan is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karla Dorr and Frank Alexander; grandchildren, Kevin Alexander, Katie Alexander and Clyde H. Dorr IV.
