Selfless- The closest word i can describe Tiya Susie. Even up to her last days here on earth, she still thinks of her family. I may have a little memory/time together with her growing up, given she's in a different Country most of her life- But, her love is deeply felt by her family. We are all grateful for the things that she has done to the Amigable Family. She fought a good fight and it breaks our heart to not even be with her in her last days. I'm just thankful to techonology that has been keeping us connected in the last decade. Especially your update calls with Mama. Mama will miss you a lot! Tiya Susie, we are so grateful for the things that you do for the family. You've been an inspiration to me and like what i promised you in our last conversation- i'll keep my word. You are deeply loved and will be missed by a lot of people. We love you! Send our hugs to Lolo, Lola, and Auntie Alma. To tito Bong, our deepeset condolences tito. Tiya Susie as we call her was my mother's sister. Among their siblings, it's the two of them that looks alike. I have little memories of her in person due to the distance with her working overseas her entire life. She never fails to send gifts through big 'balikbayan boxes' yearly to everyone in the Amigable clan. No one is forgotten even down to the apos. She was so thoughtful and generous. She never doubted to help anyone in the clan in need as she would send financial support for medical and school expenses. Even  down to her last days, she still thought of how she can help the clan. She has touched the lives of many with her big heart. Tiya Susie, you inspire us. You will never be forgotten, your legacy will live on. May you rest now in the hands of our Creator, the clan will be okay. 🥹

Our deepest condolences to Papa Bong. By the way, it is me, Tikboy, one of Mama Susie's grandkids from his brother in Ozamiz, Papa Eddie. The whole family felt heartbroken as we received the news. Mama Susie, even away from us, plays a big role in my siblings' and my childhood. For others, it may seem like a typical Filipino family with relatives living abroad sending packages yearly, but it feels different for us. For us, Mama Susie made our childhood happy. She makes us feel extra excited for Christmas. Other than that, I could remember that her gifts are very timely, depending on my current situation; it's perhaps a mother's instinct. I could clearly remember that on my second term at university, my bag was already worn out. But the gift that I received that year from Mama Susie was a bag. Those gifts are more than just their worth. It made us feel so happy. She made us feel her love. She made our childhood happy. We love you so much, ma.

We grew up not able to express our love (openly) towards each other. But Susie has her own way of showing how she deeply loved our Family. She's known as someone who's Hardworking, Generous, Thoughtful, and Helpful. She never doubted helping anyone who needs help in our Family, especially when it comes to her Siblings. She may be far from us more than half of her life, but her love is greatly felt here with us. It may be a simple gesture but she never missed sharing her blessings every year to our family. Everyone is not forgotten. Sie, you will never be forgotten. Thank you for everything you do for our Family. I'll miss you dearly. We love you!

Dodo,Bebie,Susie & myself were in one apartment at echavez st, cebu city...Dodo works at La Tondena, Bebie works at Rose Pharmacy in Colon St...Susie studied nursing at Velez while i study at San Carlos U.That was in 1976-81.. surely time flies...may you rest in peace Susie...thank you for being with us and the memories you shared...
