Constance Vowell McCulloch passed away peacefully March 4, 2021 after a long illness. Connie was born July 24, 1942 and grew up in the Belview Heights neighborhood of Birmingham. She attended Charles A. Brown Elementary School and graduated from Ensley High School. She worked over 40 years for USF&G Insurance and retired from Travelers Insurance Company.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Earle Vowell, Sr. and Hallie Wood Vowell; brothers, John Vowell, Jr. and Tommy Vowell, Sr.; and sister, Blanche Campbell. She is survived by her loving husband, John M. McCulloch; sisters, Patsy James and Ollie Dean; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
Connie lived in Bluff Park for over 30 years and loved it. She will be missed by all of her wonderful neighbors and friends.
Due to COVID concerns please wear a mask and practice safe social distancing. Her Graveside service will be held at Valhalla Cemetery on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
