Teresa Anne Tebbetts, 86 of Fresno, California, born in Tonawanda, New York October 6, 1932 passed away peacefully at home May 4, 2019 with family at her side. Beloved wife of James. Much loved mother of Steven, Marcus, Gloria, Alisa, Rose, and Susan. Stepmother of James and Mark. Cherished grandmother of Nathaniel, Joshua, Desmond, Chloe, Alejandra, Val, Lauren, Ryan, Melody, Aaron, Michael, David and Jamie. Great grandmother of Finnegan, Lawson, Wilder, and Lily. A lifelong avid reader and scrabble devotee with an appreciation for the arts, Teresa instilled in her children a love for books and learning. She was always there to provide encouragement and loving support to her children, grandchildren, and extended family. She led by example. “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. Ever graceful, mom taught us the value of simplicity and thankfulness. Her generous heart and kind nature live on in further generations. “Dollars to donuts” mom would appreciate this short and sweet.

Funeral Service will be Monday, May 13, 2019 at Green Acres Chapel at 10:00 am followed by a graveside committal at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Dearest cousins,
My heart goes out to you in the loss of your Mom.
My memories of Aunt Terry are those of laughter and joy. Whenever I was told we were going up to Running Springs to visit you all. I
knew I was in for a belly ache from laughing and some great hot chocolate after playing in the snow.
Your mom always had a sparkle in her eye for life, and seemed more like a grown up kid to me than most of the adults.
May the Lord bless you and give you comfort during this time.
Love to you all

Dear Cuzz's

Enjoyed every moment when visiting with Our Aunt Terry during her life. She was always a laugh a minute and loving to my self and siblings whenever we were able to be together. I remember her Silver? Avanti car. It was the fastest car in the family that I new about. Also loved the trips to Running Springs to see my Aunt and Cousins. A chance to maybe play in the snow. To Steve, Gloria, Marcus, Alisa and Rose, Lots of Love to you all.

Cousin Marty

I am so very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Although it's been many years since I last saw her - she's always had a special place in my heart. I remember her as a very happy, fun and loving person. Hoping you all find the support, love and comfort you need at this time. Love, Janie Rakich McMahan
