I knew Della from Recycling Furniture for Families, where she worked for many years. She was always very helpful and friendly to everyone who came in the door and everyone who called. She would share the newspaper articles and books she was reading with me, she was always really excited to talk about them, and they were always inspirational and positive. I am glad that I got the chance to know her, and she will be missed.

I worked with Della when she was a senior volunteer at the McLean County Health Dept. She was such a delight to be around. She shared her strong faith with all. Della always had such a great positive attitude and would always try to find the good in everyone and every situation. She had a great sense of humor. She just was a great influence for me and she was such a hard worker and a joy to be around. I left the health dept many years ago but still have her address on an envelope from a card she sent me in my address book. I often wondered where she was now and how she was doing. God Bless You Della. May you Rest In Peace and always be loved in the memory of so many friends.
