I knew Lora for a few years and her friendship was a blessing to me as I experienced the adjustment to American living after moving here from Russia for permanent residence. Her friendly smile and joyful heart helped me to look at my problems with the new perspective and gave me confidence that I would be okay. I enjoyed our lunches together once in awhile, just speaking Russian with her was a blessing. I will remember Lora with love and thankful heart. Thank God for putting her in my life for a very special reason.

Laura was my friend since we were both three years old. We lived close to each other, we went to school together and later in life to Medical University as well. I have been her support through the phone during the 16 years she was sick. All that happened to her is very devastating.
She came to visit my family and me in Israel before she immigrated to the United States.
We have been together for all of our lives. The memory of her will stay in my heart and my family's heart forever.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of Laura's passing. We grew up together in Baku, and were the best of friends.
We went to school together all the way through the Medical University in Baku.
Unfortunately, after I immigrated to the United Stated as a refugee, we lost contact with one another.
Blessing to her family and friends. I will always hold a special place in my heart for her.
