I sure love my uncle Dicky. I always looked forward to seeing him at family get-togethers from my childhood to my adult life. He would call me fairly often just to check-in and share his life with me. The best memory I have of him was when he drove me out to Connecticut to get my car. This was during the time of my mother's, his sister's illness. We spent a lot of hours driving together on the way and had a very nice dinner at the Edelweiss Restaurant in West Hartford, CT. I needed that help at that time in my life and he was right there to help me. I will forever remember him with love. In the picture (very old picture) I am the little girl in front of Dicky's sister Phyllis (my mother) and Dicky is behind in his Navy Sailor Uniform. I chose it because all of the siblings are in that picture.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Carlock family. Dick was not only a classmate, but a life long friend that you could always depend on. He loved his family, fast cars, and getting together with classmates once a month!
The many laughs we shared will be charished forever!
