I am honored to have counted Pat among my friends. His quiet, confident demeanor and seemingly bottomless depth of patience was something I greatly admired. I was unaware of his storied background until now, something which only further cements the great respect I have for him. There are few men whom truly leave a mark in this world, Pat was certainly among them. I am grateful to have known him, will miss his presence in my life, and now will think of him each time I look to the sky.....
