Tony also served on an aircraft carrier and as an Infantry Weapons Armorer at the Naval Missile Facility, Point Arguello, California. Following his military service, he returned home to Newburgh where he met and married Marge and began his family. Tony initially worked in the insurance industry, which brought moves to Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Tony and his family settled in Florida in 1975, where he worked as a real estate agent and limousine driver until his retirement.
Tony had a great sense of humor and was often the life of the party. His hobbies included golf, fly fishing, and reading crime novels by James Patterson and Mickey Spillane. He enjoyed watching football games, John Wayne films and his other favorite movies, Shane, Jim Thorpe: All-American, Caddyshack and Christmas Vacation. He loved taking road trips and spending time at his cabin in North Carolina, where he could often be found listening to his favorite music CDs, including The Highwaymen, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Eva Cassidy. In later years, he regularly tuned into Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Above all else, Tony was a dedicated family man and loyal friend who will be forever missed.
