Arthur Thomas Iacometta

September 1, 1949December 30, 2018

Arthur T. Iacometta, beloved husband of Debra Iacometta and proud father of Thomas P. Iacometta passed away on December 30, 2018 from battling a very rare cancer for over two years. Born in Brooklyn, New York on September 1, 1949, Arthur passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Arthur served in the Vietnam War in the U.S Army.

He is survived by his wife Debra Iacometta (DeGaetano), his son Thomas P. Iacometta, sisters Jean and Joanne, and his brother Tommy.

Arthur will be remembered for his work ethic, good humor and being an amazing spirit in his battle with cancer.

He will be missed dearly by all.

My sincere condolences to the Family. In all my years of knowing Artie and his family as neighbors and friends he was the kindest gentlest souls I ever met. Always laughing , always smiling and always there to lend a helping hand. Especially when my farther past, I will never forget how bad he took the loss. Everyone loved Artie and he will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace my neighbor and friend . Every time I look out my window I can’t help but see you in front of your Howard Beach home. My prayers to Debbie and Thomas a truly wonderful loving family .
