I will miss you, my friend. I will miss you more then words can say. You’d make fun of me for this, but at the Queen mother’s funeral the poem that was read started ‘ You can shed tears that she is gone OR you can smile because she has lived‘ and you my dear, sweet friend I smile threw my tears!
I shall keep you tucked away in my heart for the rest of my life, my Katie girl, my friend ...
Warren and Jordan, my heart is big enough for you kids too. I will always remember the fun times we all had. Love to you both.

Was so very sorry to hear the news of your mom’s passing. She was a wonderful woman who was always bubbling over with a graciousness that made you smile. Always showed care and concern for both human and four legged beings. We used to ride together in New York and boarded our horses at the same facility. She will be terribly missed. 💔😢

So sorry to hear of Katie’s sudden passing. She was a friend and sorority sister at The University of Oklahoma. She and I had shared our going gray stories recently and had some laughs about the process. My thoughts are with her husband and daughter and her precious dogs. Rest In Peace Katie.

I am so sad to learn of Katie's sudden passing. Katie and I were Delta Gamma pledge sisters at OU where we shared many fun times living together for several years at the DG house. I remember going to Lawton for Katie's wedding and nearly getting in trouble wandering around downtown Lawton. I was so happy to reconnect with Katie a few years back and hoped to come to Florida to see her. My heart breaks for her daughter and husband and her beloved pets. Please let me know if I can help with her sweet dogs.

My heartfelt sympathies to Katie's friends and family. You are all in my heart and prayers.

Katie was such a bright spot in my day with her cheery emails and wonderful gestures of friendship and kindness. We connected through SOTF as Secret Santa Pals this past year. Instantly, we found we shared a passion for horses, dogs, books, etc. We felt like old friends. I treasure the time we shared and mourn a friend gone from my life too soon.

My heart goes out to all of Katie's loved ones and friends. This came as a great shock to us in NY/CT. She will be greatly missed. May we cherish her memory.
