Liborio Ferrarella passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the age of 91 while surrounded by his family. “Benny”, as he was affectionately known, was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. where he met his loving wife Angelina and raised his four daughters. He will be remembered as a caring father, grandfather and great grandfather. Benny served in the Army during World War II before succeeding as a longshoreman for over thirty years. He left his hometown to enjoy the warmer weather and a life of retirement when he moved to Boca Raton, Florida. Benny enjoyed spending his days poolside with his family and watching gameshows in the evening. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Linda Salvietti, Lorraine Poli, and Susan Franklino. He will also be fondly remembered by his eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Although he will be missed dearly, he will be reunited with his beautiful wife of 60+ years, Angelina, devoted daughter Donna D’Angelo, and his fun-loving grandson, Vito D’Angelo, who preceded him in death.

We were so lucky to have you in our lives for this long. Knowing that our children will fondly remember you gives us great pride as family and tradition come first in our lives. We are sad to let you go but find much comfort knowing you are reunited with Grandma, Aunt Donna and Vito. Rest peacefully Grandpa (Pop-pop).
