Hi Joe. So sad to learn of Lu's passing. The memories go back to 1966, from pizza at your home with you & Lu after the Lake Tours on the Julie Marie, to you & Lu being there when my father was killed in 1976, to spending several months with you & Lu while we were searching for a home in Coral Springs. The memories of Lu's cooking, and so much more, are simply too numerous to list. Know this, that Lu was a great lady, your faithful companion, & a good friend to many of us! Wish that Marilyn & I could be with you in this trying time.

Our deepest sympathies to you Mr. Rugare and your family at this time. I have a vivid memory of meeting your wife on a school night when 4 of us male senior choir members stopped at your home unannounced at roughly 9 pm. We ordered Luchetti’s pizza from down the street, which you helped pay for. Your gracious wife put the children to bed upstairs, then joined us. Not sure how much pizza was left for her, but remember her being so welcoming and loving! We love you Mr. Rugare, let us know please if we can do anything for you or your family!
