Nikki will be forever remembered by her devoted husband of 51 years, Pete Giannakopulos, her two loving daughters Lisa Giannakopulos of Boca Raton, FL and Nicole Snijders of Lexington, SC, her five beautiful grandchildren; Brianna, Nicholas, Luca, Michael and Hudson, her brothers and sisters; Frankie Fontana (Rita), Joseph Montana (Denise), Barbara Landi (Angelo), Donna Principe (Gino), and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, whom she loved very much. Nikki was preceded in death by her daughter, Helena Giannakopulos (41).
Nikki was a beautiful person inside and out. Everyone who met her, loved her. She was a selfless person who gave 100 percent of her time, love and affection to her family. Even when she was battling Multiple Myeloma for almost 8 years, she put her struggles to the side to make sure her family always came first. She taught us love, loyalty, bravery, devotion, commitment, compassion, kindness and integrity. Her legacy will live on in all those who love her. She is leaving behind a void in our hearts that can never be filled, but wow were we blessed to have been loved by her….
